The list of resources below is divided into resources listed on the Historical Place & Name Index cards found at the Manitowoc County Heritage Center and current newspapers and additional sources of genealogical information for Manitowoc County.

Each Resource includes:Title of the sourceLocation of the source
Call numbers for books are given when owned by the Manitowoc Public Library. Lester Public Library in Two Rivers and the Manitowoc County Historical Society also own many of these sources.Links if the source is available online
The links included will not take you directly to the information on the cards. You will still need to search the digitized files to find the specific information for which you are searching. Volume and page numbers are included to aid in your search.Resource links are underlined and include this symbol:
You can print or save the records you locate in the database. At the Library, you can save the records on a flash drive. At home, you can save the information on your hard drive or flash drive. You can also email the saved records.
